eVidyaloka Trust
This Daan Utsav, join hands with eVidyaloka to ensure that Rural India continues to learn by gifting the Joy Of Education to Rural children
eVidyaloka is a not-for-profit organization that focuses on transforming the educational landscape of Rural India. We address the top 2 chronic challenges hampering the Quality of Education - Teacher Shortage and Teaching Quality. This is done by connecting children from remote villages to volunteer teachers from across the globe, using the power of technology.
The lockdown across the country has brought education to a standstill for millions of rural children. While students in cities attend online classes from the comfort of their homes, most rural students have neither access to Internet-enabled devices nor teachers equipped to teach online. Our children are in their homes and are yearning to learn. We also have passionate teachers who are looking for interactive mediums to reach students at the same time. Therefore, we believe that the LOCKDOWN has been for schools, and not for LEARNING!
This Daan Utsav, eVidyaloka wishes to celebrate the Joy of Giving through various initiatives, to ensure that Rural India continues to learn. We plan to ask well-wishers to:
1) Gift the Joy of Reading to Rural Children,
2) Gift the Joy of Learning to Rural Children,
3) Gift the Joy of Education to Rural Children,
4) Gift the Joy of Connect to Rural Children
