VIDYA - Integrated Development For Youth And Adults

Bring a smile to a child by listening to your heart

As you would be aware, DaanUtsav (earlier known as the Joy of Giving Week), is India’s festival of giving, celebrated every year from October 2nd to 8th.

From autorickshaw drivers to CEOs, school children to celebrities, over 6 million people give their time, money, resources, or skills back to society during the week. Like Diwali, Id or Christmas, #DaanUtsav is a festival which encourages people from all walks of life to come together and do their bit for the society. Launched in 2009, #DaanUtsav 2020 will be the 12th edition of the festival.

October 2, 2020, would also mark the 152nd birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Celebrating the joy of giving week would be a great way to help all the VIDYA children, youth and women learn the importance of helping, sharing and giving back to the society which does so much for them. It will also help them experience the feeling of happiness and satisfaction one gets by helping others.
